Senior Business Central Consultant – Finance
Do you want to work with Business Central and help customers gain better control of their finances and business processes?
We are looking for an experienced consultant with strong expertise in finance and accounting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will play a key role in understanding our customers' needs, finding good solutions and assisting with implementation, advisory and further development of Business Central.
Finance will be your main area of expertise, but we would also like you to have a good understanding of the processes around purchasing, sales and inventory, and how these relate to finance and accounting.
About the role
As a Business Central consultant, you will work closely with our customers throughout all or parts of the customer journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advisory and solution design within finance and accounting
- Mapping customer needs and business processes
- Setup and configuration of Business Central
- Implementing and further developing solutions for new and existing customers
- Advising on the integration between finance, purchasing, sales and inventory
- Testing, quality assurance and documentation of solutions
- Training and supporting the customer's users
- Troubleshooting and problem solving together with customers, developers and other consultants
- Helping identify improvement opportunities and good work processes for customers
What we are looking for
We believe you have:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant
- Solid functional expertise in finance and accounting
- A good understanding of financial processes and how they are supported in an ERP system
- Experience with or good knowledge of purchasing, sales and inventory
- Experience with implementing, configuring and customizing ERP solutions
- The ability to understand customer needs and turn them into good, practical solutions
- Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
It is an advantage if you also have experience with:
- Banking and payment solutions
- Electronic invoicing
- VAT and Norwegian financial reporting
- SAF-T
- Fixed assets
- Budgets and dimensions
- Power BI and reporting
- Integrations with other business systems
- Continia solutions or similar add-on solutions for Business Central
